Parishioners of St John’s Church ,yesterday took part in what is believed to be Britain’s first ever digital church service.Ipads and other mobile devices were used by the congregation to sing hymns to follow the sermon, bible passages,and prayers live on tablet computers.More photos below...

Members of the congregation were handed tablet computers before the service, which they can use to enlarger the text of the service as they follow it
